From Port-au-Prince to West Point

When Alix Schoelcher Idrache first came to the United States from Haiti in 2009, he knew only limited English.  Nine years later, after becoming a U.S. citizen and subsequently serving in the Maryland Army National Guard, he graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, with a commission as a Second Lieutenant and will now attend the Aviation Center for Excellence at Fort Rucker to earn his wings.

That, Mr. President, is why we allow refugees from “shithole” countries to come to America.
