A couple of weeks ago, 39-year-old Brock Antoine Williams of Springfield, Oregon did a bunch of stupid things.
One, he stole a motorcycle. While on parole.
Two, when a police officer attempted to arrest him because he had a warrant out for a parole violation, Williams did not meekly accede to the authority of the State. Instead, he led police on a 100-mph chase.
Three, he had a specialty license plate on the stolen motorcycle. The plate read “XFELON.” It was from North Dakota, and the registration sticker dated back to 1993.
I am not making this up.
I should add a fourth stupid thing. After he was arrested following the chase, Williams allegedly claimed that he wasn’t riding the motorcycle.
In addition to the parole violation on an unrelated matter, Williams was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving and possession of methamphetamine.
