Charlie Buttrey

April 18, 2019

Regular readers of this blog may recall (if I mentioned it) that I turned 60 years old a couple of weeks ago.

I mention this only because today I came across a New Hampshire statute that makes it a crime to neglect an elderly person. No problem there.

The problem? An elderly person is defined, by statute, as “an individual who is 60 years of age or older.”

To add insult to injury, I think I am also now entitled to the senior discount at the P&H Truck Stop in Wells River.
