Vermont State Senator John Rodgers calls himself a “strong supporter of the Second Amendment.”  He is angry that the Vermont legislature had the temerity to pass legislation that prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from buying a firearm unless he or she first takes a hunter safety course. So Rodgers introduced a bill that would make it illegal for minors to possess cellphones.  Get it?

While Rodgers calls himself a “strong supporter of the Second Amendment,” he is really a “strong supporter” of his interpretation of the Second Amendment. Those are two very different things.
