Suppose I were to ask you: “What do you think the most stolen food item is?”
Think about it.
You’ve had enough time.
The correct answer? Cheese.
It is estimated that 4% of the world’s production of cheese is stolen.
One theory holds that cheese is a so-called “CRAVED” product. “CRAVED” is a term that loss-prevention experts use, and it stands for Concealable, Removable, Available, Valuable, Enjoyable and Disposable.
And cheese is certainly all of those.
