Twitter recently banned President Trump from its platform. Predictably, the President and his supporters howled that Twitter was violating his First Amendment rights. As I have discussed ad infinitum on this blog, the First Amendment doesn’t apply to private entities.
More to the point, couldn’t the President simply call a press conference or issue a press release or address the nation directly?
