You know that Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts takes the coronavirus seriously.  He says things like (and I’m paraphrasing here) “I take the coronavirus seriously.”

On the other hand, Ricketts has said that he will deny federal pandemic-relief funds to any county that requires face masks in public buildings. If counties want to require masks and lose millions in funding, he says, “that’s their prerogative.”

As of yesterday, Nebraska has reported 19,660 cases of COVID-19, and 284 deaths.
