If you decide that Japan is your dream holiday destination, you may be looking for a good price for a hotel room.

How about $1 a night?  Seriously.

There is (naturally) a catch.

If you book Room 8 at the Asahi Ryokan Hotel in Fukuoka (home of, among other things, one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels), you will be charged 100 yen (or about $1). The thing is… you have to agree to have your entire stay live-streamed (the toilet is private, and sex is not allowed).

The question is not who would pay $1 for a hotel room and have one’s stay live-streamed; the question is: who wants to WATCH this??
