Looking for an unusual vacation getaway? You may have to wait, but the wait may be worth it.

The Gateway Foundation has announced plans to open the world’s first space hotel sometime in the year 2027. The space station will be a large circle and rotate to generate artificial gravity which will be set at a similar level to the gravity found on the surface of the Moon. In addition to your own private quarters, the space hotel will include things like restaurants, viewing lounges, concert venues, bars, libraries, gyms and a spa – all things you’d see on a cruise ship. Except that this one will be circling the earth once every 90 minutes.

No word yet on the cost of a ticket. But it had better include a pillow mint every night.
