If you’re looking for a rainy-day activity, here’s an idea: See how many M&M candies you can stack on top of each other.  If you can reach six, you will have set a new world record.

Will Cutbill of Solihull, Warwickshire, UK, recently set the Guiness Book of World Record standard with five (if you doubt me, click here). Five may sound like a trifling amount of M&M’s to stack on top of one another, but Cutbill insists “it was  nearly impossible.” In fact, once he had established the new record, Cutbill says “I considered attempting six, but there’s no chance.”

Thinking this can’t be too terribly difficult, I actually set out to break Solihull’s record.  I gave up after a few minutes, during which I could not successfully stack TWO of them.

Good luck with that.
